Pasturemag is a convenient granular fertiliser that contains all five major plant nutrients - nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (blended to your requirements), sulphur and magnesium, plus calcium for plant and animal health.
Pasturemag is the ideal choice for many farming situations, but offers special benefits for dairy farmers. Low soil magnesium levels around calving can lead to the development of grass staggers and milk fever. A typical application of pasturemag to dairy land supplies sufficient magnesium to meet the normal maintenance requirements of most dairy operations, so helping to prevent animal health problems. In addition, the inclusion of nitrogen promotes a rapid pasture response, while the phosphorus and sulphur encourage long-term clover growth. Applying all the major nutrients in one product can help save on spreading costs
